Local village Partaloa is a real step back in time to real Spain and is just a 5 minute walk. Its 5 bars all offer something different with traditional tapas a must. It also has a small supermarket, bakers and pharmacy for day to day necessities. It is situated 10 minutes from the large market towns of Olula Del Rio and Albox. There are an abundance of restaurants, as well as tenpin bowling, snooker club and ball parks here. The coastal resort of Mojacar is a 45 minute drive.

The villa overlooks "Rancho Luz Del Sol" which is a horse riding and rescue centre. Here you can take a trek into the mountains, stopping at a restaurant on route, or having a BBQ on your return. Beginners and first timers are welcome. They currently have 40 horses and are able to cater for every ability. Quad bike tours are also available along with mountain biking for all levels.
